Our approach

Studio Bea Sophia aims to make this website usable by as many people as practical, including visitors who navigate with a keyboard, use assistive technology, enlarge text or prefer reduced motion.

02

What is built in

The current site includes:

  • semantic headings and labelled navigation;
  • keyboard-focusable links, buttons and form controls;
  • form labels and status messaging;
  • responsive layouts composed specifically for smaller screens;
  • a reduced-motion mode that disables or simplifies non-essential animation;
  • project visuals that support, rather than replace, essential text content.
03

Motion and interactive work

The studio shell uses restrained motion, while individual concept projects can be more expressive. Where the device reports a preference for reduced motion, major animation is reduced or disabled. Essential information remains available as HTML text.

04

Known limitations

Highly experimental visual interfaces can expose browser- and assistive-technology-specific issues. We continue to improve the site and do not claim that every combination of device, browser and assistive technology is perfect.

05

Report a barrier

If something prevents you from reading, navigating or submitting an enquiry, email studiobeasophia@gmail.com and describe the page, device or issue. We will try to provide the information another way and fix the underlying problem where possible.
